Got new granite counter tops, and replaced a Kohler kitchen faucet which had lasted well for 13 years. Had a plumber install the Delta Leland, and he said he has the same faucet at his home, and loves it. This one is excellent so far, although we have only had it for 2 weeks. Thanks, Delta. And thanks to Amazon for an excellent price!
We purchased this faucet to go along with a new sink and granite counter tops. I have never installed a faucet before, and it was super easy. The quality of the faucet is immediately noticable when you start to use it. It provides more pressure than our previous faucet and looks really good. I was a little hesitant to spend that much money, but every day we use it I am glad we did.
bought this for kitchen renovation and it was much more reasonable on amazon than competitor's sites.
This faucet is wonderful- the spray pull down saves so much time with cleaning out the sink. Have had it installed for 6 months now and it cleans very easily and is a great addition to our kitchen.
I spent a long time contemplating this faucet. Here is what I love:
1) one handle makes it SO easy to control water temperature or turn on water while preparing stuff in the sink - holding pots to clean or chicken to rinse, I only need to move to one handle.
2) Venetian Bronze color shows NO dirt! Occasional and minor water residue scaling (very slight and subject to your local water) but so much easier than chrome - do I ever clean it? Rarely!
3) Love the the toggle between water stream and shower stream - shower like stream great for rinsing fruits and veggies. Make sure to rinse low in sink or there is a lot of back splash as the streams of water bounces off whatever you are rinsing and wets the area around the sink.
4) The hose that pulls out allows me to fill pots outside the sink on the counter or water plants on my window sill. The counter balance weight is "low tech" (just a big weighted washer on the long hose) and my plumber realized after doing initial plumbing that he should have placed pipes differently underneath so the counterbalance doesn't get stuck in the pipes. Not a big problem- I realized the hose got stuck with the counterbalance under the sink if I pulled it too far - very easy to fix, but have plumber do a quick review before pre-plumbing.
5) It looks great with a copper sink (posted picture on customer images) and if you really want a wowee kitchen, go with a copper sink - doesn't show dirt and kills bacteria faster than stainless. Pictures don't do it justice - hammered copper is art in the kitchen while being rustic and practical as well.
6) I wanted to be a brand name snob and get a "better", "upscale" brand name. To be honest, I didn't like the designs as much as this, and the reviews tell it all as well as the amazing price. Who cares what the "brand" name is other than the plumber who said he liked those brand names AND Delta!
